Before entering the professional game, I dedicated nine years to a bold ambition : transposing the standards of elite structures (such as INF Clairefontaine) into the heart of community football. In 2008, I co-founded and managed the Juvisy Académie de Football de l’Essonne (JAFE).
More than just a club, JAFE served as a genuine laboratory for sports engineering, where I was able to test and validate my convictions regarding player development and management.
A vision : Elite Quality for Grassroots Football. My dual background as an engineer and a football coach allowed me to approach this project with a « quality assurance » mindset – a first in French amateur football.
The challenge was to move beyond traditional models to provide a framework where every detail matters
The success of JAFE was measured not just in trophies, but through structural performance indicators :
JAFE forged my DNA as a developer of talent. Today, whether I am launching young prospects at PSG or optimising the potential of international players in England, I rely on this ability to build and develop solid foundations within my squad.
This experience taught me that sustainable training quality does not happen by chance : it arises from a protective environment, meticulous organisation, and human management that places the individual at the heart of the technical project.
