PSG Women : A Culture of Excellence at the service of Performance

My tenure at Paris Saint Germain between 2022 and 2024 was defined by a permanent challenge : maintaining world-class standards within a rapidly evolving environment. Whether working in the strategic role of Assistant Coach or under the spotlight as Head Coach, my guiding principle remained the same : methodological rigour and the constant optimisation of available resources.

2022-2023 : Restoring Balance and Individualising Performance

Upon my arrival, the context required a sophisticated approach to human management. As first assistant coach, I believed that collective performance could only be revitalised through individual re-engagement.

I implemented personalised performance pathways for every player. The concept was straightforward : within a squad occasionally fragmented by external pressures, it was essential to provide each individual with their own technical and athletic objectives. By aligning individual ambitions with the club’s project, we successfully stabilised the group and laid the tactical foundations for the future success.

2023 - 2024 : Leading the transition to the Summit

Taking the helm of the PSG first team is a responsibility that leaves no room for improvisation. I faced a triple challenge : an immediate appointment just three days before a crucial clash against Lyon, the absnece of an assistant until December, and the heavy logistical management involved in the move to the new Poissy Campus.

It was within this crisis management that my professional vision truly took shape :

  • A Non-Negotiable Playing Identity : Following the necessary adjustment phase, the team reached full tactical maturity during the second half of the season. The statistics speak for themselves : 43 goals scored and only 7 conceded in 11 matchs. This ratio reflects my commitment to a brand of « control football », based on rapid ball circulation and constant technical dominance.
  • Elite Player Management : Coaching international profiles such as Katoto, Geyoro, Karchaoui or Chawinga demands absolute clarity in the tactical project. I built a demanding yet protective working environment where start players served the collective, while successfully integrating emerging young talents to ensure the long-term sustainability of the sporting project.
  • A Proven Track Record : The season concluded with a French Cup title, a Champions League semi-final, and a runner-up finish in the league. these results validate the robustness of the technical project implmented.

My Conviction : Methodology Over Chance

These two seasons in PAris have reinforced my certainty : at the elite level, talent is insufficient without an extremely precise, almaost surgical, working structure.

Whether analysing data to refine a match plan or shielding a dressing room from media pressure, the role of the modern manager is to be the architect of an environment shere performance becomes a logical consequence of hard work, rather than a stroke of luck. This culture of optimisation and winning is what I continue to bring to the dugout today.
