Joining the club in July 2024 during a period of major transition, my mission was to professionalise and propel London City Lionesses – a 100% independent club – towards the heights of the Women’s Super League (WSL). This challenge represented my first immersion into the British football ecosystem, requiring rapid cultural integration and an immediate operational response.
Working under the leadership of Michele Kang was a defining opportunity. My mission was central to her global vision : transforming the status of the female athlete and professionalising the football ecosystem through unprecedented investment. My close working relationship with the owner, particularly during the launch phase, allowed me to align sporting objectives with a strategy of organisational excellence. The results achieved testify to the effectiveness of the methodology implemented :
Operating for the first time in England within an independent clube demanded total managerial agility. My ability to fully reconstruct a tactical project in the second season (integrating 17 new signings) while maintaining performance targets confirms my mastery of crisis management and long-term sporting planning.
In summary : A proven 18-month tenure that validates my capacity to lead a high-level international project, from clinching a title to consolidating a position in the top division.
